About me
I am an experienced Licensed Marital and Family Therapist who values working with clients to improve their well-being by understanding their unique experiences, providing support, hopefulness and specific ways to manage anxiety and depression. I also work extensively with clients regarding the primary relationships in their lives- marital, children, family and work.
I am grateful to have had the personal and professional life experiences I've had. I have been in the Nashville area since 2002, and along with my husband, we have raised our family here, who are now creating their own families. After beginning my work with Vanderbilt in 2002, I then worked at Cumberland Heights until opening my private practice in 2005. I have appreciated working with many people over the years, to include issues such as depression, anxiety, self-worth, co-dependency, marital and family struggles and parenting concerns. I appreciate the collaborative effort with my clients and hope to be a supportive, helpful person in their lives while working on difficult and often painful issues.
