I am an addiction and trauma therapist, with a love for working with veterans and a keen insight into the Kink and BDSM worlds.

Hello, I am a licensed therapist and substance abuse counselor in Washington and Nebraska and have been doing therapy with veterans at the Veteran Affairs for 10 years (and still work there), it was time to take a step into the private practice sector. I am trained in the top 3 trauma therapies (EMDR, PE and CPT), all of my practice is grounded in somatics, and neuroscience and strengths based. I use humor within therapy when appropriate, believe I learn as much you as you might from me. I have primary experience and formalized supervision in doing trauma, addiction, anxiety therapies. Although I love children I do not have experience working with those under 18 years of age. I have worked my whole counseling career with folks whom are LGBTQIA+ and I am very comfortable working with those whom are involved in KINK and BDSM. I have experience working with Domestic Violence Offenders and Victims as well and was trained in Emerge and Batterers Intervention Program.

I am also a certified fitness trainer and when able will integrate your body within therapy because as we know all of our pent-up emotions and experiences are held within our body. I recently completed an Integrative Mental Health Certification so I am able to help look at how what you eat affects your mental health. I do not make diet plans for people, and enjoy helping people reach vibrant health and loose weight.

I believe that it is an honor to work with people and help them find answers in their darkest of times. I do not give advice, or direct your life; I believe that you already have the answers within you and that I am here to help you navigate your journey.

I am credentialed in Washington, Nebraska and Idaho. I also offer sliding scale fees for those who may need it. I offer appointments in the evenings and on Saturday mornings virtually and if locally at a local business I partner with often. For an initial appointment I charge $50.00 and for a typical 60 min session the base rate is $160.00. I currently have a practicum student who will also be offering low cost cash pay therapy.

As for me personally I am an Army Vet, a solo-parent, a dog lover and can often be found outside in nature, working in my yard, reading a book, nerding out to Star Wars or Marvel, or at a music concert.
