I'm a compassionate and competent Christian counselor, specializing in trauma, sexual addiction, and sexuality conflicts.

My vision at Integrity Christian Counseling is for each person’s body, mind, will, emotions, spirit, and relationships to be made whole in union with God’s design and destiny. Our mission is to reflect the heart of Christ to all persons--Christians and non-Christians alike--who are seeking healing and wholeness. Our purpose is to serve in God’s ministry of reconciliation—reconciling the parts of the self, reconciling relationships between people, and reconciling people to God--by using mainstream psychotherapy approaches through a Christian worldview as well as interventions unique to Christian counseling (for those who are seeking it).

I use Reintegrative Therapy to help clients understand their addictions and unwanted sexual feelings, oftentimes identifying underlying trauma for us to reprocess, resulting in changes in sexual feelings and urges. I am trained in psychodynamic therapy as well as various forms of trauma reprocessing (EMDR, Flash, Image Transformation Therapy, body work, VSDT). For continuing anxiety, obsessions, and compulsions, I train clients in basic mindfulness strategies based in mastery over one's attention and applying grace to oneself (NOT based in Eastern mysticism). For clients seeking an explicitly Christian approach, I incorporate Bible study and prayer in the sessions.
