About me
Trauma-Informed Individual, Couples & Family Therapy Rooted in NARM and Relational Healing
You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected — weighed down by patterns that seem difficult to shift. Perhaps you’ve tried to understand yourself, yet still find that certain reactions, relationship issues, or emotional cycles persist. Whether you're navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, relational strain, or a significant life transition, meaningful change is possible.
I am a clinically licensed therapist and certified NARM Master Therapist specializing in complex, attachment, developmental, and relational trauma. I provide trauma therapy for adults, couples, and families whose nervous systems and self-image have been shaped by early relational injury, chronic stress, unmet developmental needs, or intergenerational burdens. These patterns often show up as anxiety, depression, PTSD symptoms, anger, emotional distance, or recurring relationship conflict.
My work is grounded in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), a trauma-informed, attachment-based approach for complex and developmental trauma. This therapy focuses on understanding how adaptive survival strategies formed — and how they continue to shape present-day experience. Rather than asking what is “wrong,” we explore how protective patterns once made sense and how they may now be limiting connection, agency, and emotional flexibility.
Alongside NARM, I integrate insights from interpersonal neurobiology and polyvagal theory. This supports a nuanced understanding of how nervous system states, attachment dynamics, and relational environments influence emotional regulation, identity, and relationship patterns. Therapy becomes a space to slow down and gently track these patterns as they unfold in the present moment.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
In individual therapy for trauma, anxiety, depression, and PTSD, we slow the pace and pay attention to emotional, cognitive, and bodily experience in real time. Together, we explore how early adaptations may be shaping how you relate to yourself and others today. This process supports nervous system regulation, greater clarity, increased emotional flexibility, and the capacity to respond rather than react.
Over time, many clients describe feeling more grounded, less reactive, and more connected to their authentic sense of self.
COUPLES & FAMILY THERAPY
For those seeking couples counseling, marriage counseling, or family therapy, this approach focuses on understanding interaction cycles rather than assigning blame. In couples and family therapy, I focus on the relational field — how each person’s nervous system, attachment history, and protective strategies interact in moments of stress, disconnection, or conflict.
Rather than teaching quick communication techniques, we slow down reactive cycles and explore what is happening beneath the surface of conflict — often fear, protection, or unmet attachment needs. This work supports partners and family members in increasing emotional contact, improving responsiveness, strengthening relational safety, and building resilience.
The goal is not to eliminate conflict entirely, but to help relationships become more flexible, secure, and capable of repair.
MY APPROACH
I bring a warm, grounded, and deeply human presence to this work. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced with care. I am attentive to each person’s nervous system capacity, ensuring that exploration unfolds in a way that feels sustainable rather than overwhelming.
At the core of my practice is the belief that connection, wholeness, and the capacity for growth are inherent. Healing is not about becoming someone new, but about reconnecting with parts of yourself — and one another — that may have been constrained by earlier experiences.
If you are seeking trauma-informed therapy, couples counseling, or family therapy that is thoughtful, relational, and attentive to both individual and relational complexity, I invite you to reach out. I would be honored to support you in this work.
