Addiction and mental illness treatment is within your reach, you only need to ask for help. I specialize in treating PTSD, trauma, anxiety, and depression relating to any addictive behavior across Rhode Island.
With a decade of expertise in leading addiction recovery services through evidence-based practices, I have dedicated my life to assisting those in crisis to overcome addiction and mental health issues. My professional journey began once I managed my own challenges related to addiction, empowering me with a unique perspective on both the personal and societal impacts of substance dependency. I take a holistic and harm reduction approach, utilizing CBT and MI in conjunction with lived experience to treat addiction. I have both personally and professionally witnessed the discrimination vulnerable populations experience when seeking relief from mental illness and addiction. Each member of my team is licensed & insured, with advanced training.
I specialize in substance use and addiction counseling, for both individual and family sessions, primarily using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, & Animal-Assisted Therapy. I can also provide an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) certification for qualifying individuals offering the legal right to have their support pet accompany them anywhere.
My approach is highly personalized, eschewing one-size-fits-all solutions in favor of tailored recovery plans that respect the individuality of each client’s We will collaborate to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your individual preferences and goals. This approach will empower you to achieve freedom from substances and rediscover the joys of life.
