About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and Registered Nurse with over 20 years of healthcare experience offering compassionate, experienced care for adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and reproductive health challenges.
As a counselor and Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, I strive to offer compassionate, whole-person care to adolescents and adults. My background as a nurse provides a strong foundation in understanding the connection between physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, allowing me to approach counseling with both clinical insight and genuine empathy.
I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, crisis pregnancy, and abortion-related concerns as well as the unique needs of active duty military, their families, and military veterans. I also offer a unique perspective as a nurse when working with nurses, first responders and other medical professionals.
Life’s challenges can feel heavy and isolating, and my goal is to create a safe, respectful space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside you to identify strengths, clarify goals, and foster meaningful change.
My approach to therapy is person-centered and integrative, grounded in evidence-informed practices and tailored to each individual’s needs. For clients who desire it, I offer faith-based Christian counseling, thoughtfully integrating biblical principles and values into therapy as a source of strength, hope, and healing. Your faith is always incorporated respectfully and collaboratively, honoring where you are on your journey.
I also offer neurofeedback, a non-invasive, brain-based intervention that can support emotional regulation, stress reduction, and overall mental wellness. Neurofeedback can be especially helpful for individuals struggling with anxiety, trauma, mood concerns, and difficulty managing stress.
Whether you’re seeking healing from past experiences, relief from current distress, or growth moving forward, I am committed to walking with you through the process. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions and strive to provide care rooted in compassion, professionalism, and hope. You don’t have to navigate this alone. I would be honored to support you on your path toward healing and renewal.
