About me
My practice helps individuals experiencing mental health challenges manage symptoms through medication management and holistic mental health care. I provide virtual services for patients in California and Arizona, integrating therapy techniques to support lasting and meaningful results.
My name is Andrea Carper, and I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
I specialize in working with children (ages 6+), adolescents, and adults who struggle with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, OCD, psychosis, and life transitions.
I help by providing personalized medication management and holistic mental health care, integrating evidence-based psychiatric treatment with supportive therapeutic techniques, lifestyle guidance, and a whole-person approach to promote lasting wellness.
In our sessions, you can expect a thoughtful, collaborative process where we take the time to fully understand your symptoms, concerns, and personal goals. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, supported, and actively involved in building a treatment plan tailored specifically to you.
My practice is unique because I combine comprehensive medication management with a holistic, culturally competent approach that considers the full picture of your well-being—including sleep, nutrition, movement, and therapy. I offer inclusive, bilingual (Spanish-supported) virtual care for patients across California and Arizona, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for individuals of all backgrounds.
I am passionate about this work because I believe mental health care should be compassionate, empowering, and individualized. With over a decade of experience in nursing, I am deeply committed to helping patients feel understood, supported, and equipped to achieve meaningful and lasting improvements in their lives.
