About me
I am a LPC and I believe in honoring the uniqueness of every individual and creating a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard.
My approach
I work from a humanistic and person-centered foundation, believing you possess the capacity for growth and self-healing when provided with a compassionate, nonjudgmental space. My role is to serve as a collaborative partner, helping you explore your experiences, clarify your values, and identify pathways to change.
My focus
I work with individuals aged 16 and older navigating trauma, life transitions, career struggles, depression, anxiety, addiction, and goal setting. I'm open to supporting you with a wide range of concerns, tailoring my approach to meet your unique needs and circumstances.
My communication style
I create a tone that's honest, direct, and grounded in respect for your unique needs and experiences. I foster a supportive environment where you feel seen and heard, while approaching our work with straightforwardness and clarity. My aim is to balance compassion with practical guidance.
My journey to mental healthcare
I've come to realize that my purpose is to help people gain clarity about where they are in life and where they want to go. Having faced life's challenges myself, I understand the importance of not having to navigate them alone. Knowing that individuals can benefit from my skills inspires me to provide support.
My goals for you
I view goal setting as a deeply collaborative and client-driven process. I create a safe space where you can explore your values, aspirations, and what truly matters to you. The focus is on understanding your unique journey and identifying goals that resonate with your authentic self, emphasizing empowerment.
My first session with you
You can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you're free to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. My primary goal is to get to know you—your experiences, concerns, hopes, and what brings you to therapy. This session is an opportunity for us to build trust.
