About me
Complex Trauma • Emotional Load • Quiet Survival
Surviving was never the whole story. Let's write the rest together.
Helping people unlearn survival mode and reclaim joy after complex trauma
My goal is to get you from surviving to thriving. I work with you to learn to fall back in love with everyday life. Whether you're struggling with trauma, with your relationship, or with simply navigating the curveballs adulting throws your way, I believe that you already have the power to build a life you love. All you need is a little knowledge, a little insight, and a cheerleader in your corner to add a different perspective.
Social work is looking beyond the glass being half full or half empty but also identifying that it is refillable and exploring what systematic barriers prevent it from being refilled. I am a New Yorker turned Texan after receiving my bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland's School of Public Health in psychology and family science and my social work master's degree from the University of Texas.
Outside of the office, I am a wife and stepmom controlling the chaos two rescue dogs bring to my household, trying to snag some peace and quiet with a cup of coffee and a good book. When others talk about me, I do not want them to label my success by my achievements or job but by the number of lives I touch
