About me
Welcome to a place of self- discovery. I am dedicated to provide a safe and compassionate space where we may explore your inner world bringing you to a more peaceful and satisfying life.
Aloha!
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Hawai’i. My
therapeutic focus is on helping you understand the dynamics of your family of
origin and the various factors that shape your personal narrative.
My approach is humanistic, evidence-based, and trauma-informed. I
will work collaboratively with you to enhance self-compassion and
self-awareness, supporting you as you cultivate a better relationship with
yourself and others.
Utilizing modalities such as Family Theory, CBT, DBT, solution focused and feminist theory, I
offer a culturally sensitive method that helps clients understand the aspects of
their own narratives that may be holding them back, as well as those areas
where they have agency and resources to address their presenting concerns.
I have supported clients with ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, chronic pain, OCD,
relationship issues, survivors of domestic abuse, grief, and adjustment disorders from diverse backgrounds, utilizing a compassionate approach and a joyful, optimistic attitude.
I offer sessions in both English and Portuguese.
