About me
I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in working children, teens, and their parents. I am passionate about helping treat anxiety, ADHD, ASD, and behavioral problems.
I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in working with preschool and school-age children, teens, and their parents. My approach is collaborative, trauma informed, and strengths-based, utilizing a variety of evidence-based practices. I most often utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Play Therapy. Additionally, I am certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) by PCIT International. Concerns I most often help with include disruptive behaviors, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety disorders, including Selective Mutism, adjustment disorder, and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
I obtained my B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I earned my M.A. and Ph.D. at Alliant International University, San Diego. During my clinical training in community mental health settings, I obtained extensive experience working with children and adolescence with a variety of challenges.
