About me
I have been a School Counselor in the Central Florida area for over nine years, and I'm happy to now offer my services in the private practice setting where I help my clients to live their best lives based on their unique needs and wants. I'm also a Certified Trauma Professional, and working towards becoming a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I'm always continuing to learn and grow, so that I can show up as my best self for my clients!
You may not believe it just yet - but you can live a life where you feel fulfilled and at peace. You may feel stuck, empty, and afraid that you’re not good enough - but reaching out for help can be the first step in breaking that cycle of monotony and starting the healing process. If you’re interested in a therapist who is supportive and compassionate, but also keeps it real, let’s set up a time to talk. We can work together to identify what it is that’s holding you back from living your best life, and come up with a plan to change that.
In addition to working with adults, I’m also experienced in working with children (10+), and teens. Being a parent is the toughest job out there, and we are all just doing our best with what we know. I’m happy to work directly with your child, or with the family unit together. I can also consult with you regarding your child’s 504 plan or IEP.
I'm passionate about Intuitive Eating, an anti-diet framework rooted self-care and self-compassion. Incorporating these concepts into your life can help you take control over your relationship with food and with your body. I can help you learn to trust yourself again, learn to recognize what it is you actually want and need, and to give yourself just that.
