About me

I help clients discover their strengths, regulate emotions, and create meaningful change through practical, solution-focused therapy delivered entirely online throughout New York State. I specialize in supporting adults and teens navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and TBI through a compassionate, strengths-based, solution-focused approach—all through secure telehealth.

I’m Amy, a licensed therapist providing virtual counseling for adults and teens across New York State. My practice, Telehealth Amy, is built on the belief that meaningful change starts with awareness. When we slow down enough to notice what we think, feel, and experience, we gain the power to choose how we move forward.

Clients often come to me during times of stress, transition, or emotional overwhelm—feeling stuck, burned out, or unsure of what comes next. Together, we explore your patterns, roles, and relationships with curiosity and compassion. I help you strengthen communication skills, improve emotional regulation, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been neglected through life’s challenges.

My approach is solution-focused and strengths-based, helping you identify what is working and build on it. You’ll find me supportive, direct, and collaborative. I work with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, mood regulation, ADHD, PTSD, TBI, and women’s issues, as well as the everyday stressors that come with being a student, military spouse, or busy professional.

Every session is virtual, confidential, and tailored to your goals. I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can get a sense of whether we’re a good fit. You don’t have to navigate this alone—together, we can create the changes that help you feel grounded and empowered again.
