About me
I am an experienced child, adolescent and family psychotherapist who is dedicated to helping children and families learn to communicate for the best overall well-being of those I serve. I work with clients on learning coping skills for anxiety, learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, depression, suicidal ideation, anger, domestic violence, grief, trauma and complex PTSD.
I am a private practice clinician. I can now control the number of clients that I have so that I can give 100% of my focus to my clients and not to burnout!! (as opposed to working for the community). I have a history of working with clients of all ages. I can do individual, family and group sessions. I use a sliding scale fee depending on the family income and I take private pay only. I do not file insurance. As a community mental health clinician I was exposed to experience in all aspects of counseling so I can work with adults, however; my specialty is with children, adolescents and families. My degree is in Licensed Professional Christian Counseling from Liberty University. I have previous degrees from UGA: BA in Psychology and a minor in social work with a history as a certified social services worker.
