I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping Individuals, Couples, Military, Veterans, and First Responders with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma.

I've been a therapist for more than four years — but the truth is, my real training started long before that. I have worked as a social worker in K–12 schools, in hospitals, on a kidney transplant team, and within the VA. That range matters. It means I've sat with people at the hardest moments of their lives, from every walk of life, long before "therapist" was the word on my door. Each of those settings taught me something different about how people carry pain — and how they heal.

I'm also a military wife. I know the world of service from the inside — the deployments, the homecomings, the quiet weight families carry. So when a veteran, an active-duty service member, or a first responder's family sits down with me, they don't have to translate. They don't have to explain what the job costs. I already understand a lot of it.

Mostly, I work with adults and with couples. Trauma is my focus, that's the work I do most, and the work I care about most. I find that trauma is usually at the root of most problems people seek help with; depression, anxiety, and some personality and self-esteem issues. I am trained in many different modalities including EMDR, ART, IFS, PIT (the Pia Mellody model), and others. I work to create a treatment plan just for the individual or couple, the plan that they need to meet their needs utilizing these different modalities. I do not offer a one size fits all, cookie cutter approach; each client is an individual and each couple is unique.
