About me
With 15+ years of clinical experience, I provide individual, family, and group therapy to help clients of all ages find emotional clarity, build healthier relationships, and create meaningful positive life changes.
Hello, I’m Amy Kelly, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with well over a decade of experience supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, heal from past wounds, and build more fulfilling lives. I’ve been in private practice since 2011 and bring a grounded, compassionate, and practical approach to therapy.
My work is rooted in the belief that everyone is capable of growth, healing, and meaningful change when given the right tools and space to explore their inner world. I aim to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe being fully yourself—especially on the days when that feels hardest.
In my practice, I specialize in helping adults manage anxiety, depression, relationship stress, life transitions, trauma, and the emotional toll of caregiving and high-demand roles. I integrate evidence-based practices with a person-centered style that honors your unique story, strengths, and goals. Together, we move at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you.
In addition to general mental health care, I have extensive experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism. I understand the emotional, behavioral, and environmental challenges that often impact daily functioning, independence, relationships, and overall well‑being.
My work in this area focuses on helping clients build emotional regulation, coping skills, self‑advocacy, and confidence—while also supporting caregivers and families when helpful.
I also have a special interest in working with women who are navigating hormonal changes across the lifespan, including perimenopause, menopause, postpartum shifts, and other hormone‑related mental health challenges. I help women understand the connection between mind and body, manage mood fluctuations, reduce stress, and develop healthier routines that support physical and emotional balance.
Beyond symptom relief, I help clients develop deeper self-awareness, emotional resilience, and healthier patterns that support long-term well‑being. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for personal growth, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and respect.
If you’re looking for a therapist who listens closely, offers practical insight, and provides a calm, steady presence, I would be honored to support you.
