About me
When you visit me, you can expect an individualized approach—whether that involves medication management, therapy, or both. I believe the best psychiatric care comes from working as a team toward shared goals. You’ll have space to explore options, ask questions, and feel supported in every decision we make together.
I’m a double board-certified Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. I completed medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine and trained in Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Maryland Medical Center/Sheppard Pratt, where I served as Chief Fellow. I’m passionate about Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, especially early childhood trauma and Women’s Mental Health. My experience spans outpatient care, inpatient psychiatry, and emergency settings with diverse populations. While I’m well-versed in psychopharmacology, I take a whole-person approach, focusing on both medication and the broader aspects of healthy living and relationships. I believe in collaboration—involving parents, therapists, and other professionals—to foster growth and positive change, creating a welcoming space tailored to each individual’s needs.
Collaboration is key—I partner with parents, therapists, and other team members to encourage growth from every angle. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where we explore concerns together and tailor changes to each individual.
