About me
I am a Clinical Social Worker (LISW-S) that has worked in the field for 15 years specializing in supporting at risk children/youth and their families, as well as people who are facing crisis and stressful life events. In addition to obtaining a Master of Social Work in 2008, I have certificates in Domestic Violence Counseling, Child Abuse and Recovery, Specialized Mental Health (working with persons with severe mental illness) & Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
I work to create a safe, supportive environment where we can partner together to do the work needed to help you reach your goals. I work from a strengths-based approach using a variety of treatment modalities. I offer In-persons sessions at the Stanley Avenue location or telehealth session options. I have 2 Certified Therapy Dogs (Spruce and Christmas) that love to join session whenever possible. Equine options coming soon!
