About me
Life gets overwhelming sometimes. If you've ever found yourself feeling as if your thoughts move too quickly, or like you can't survive the day, you're far from alone! Anxiety, depression, grief, obsessive thoughts - all of these experiences can make daily living a challenge. My goal is to create a compassionate and nonjudgmental space that encourages self-reflection, fosters resilience, and allows for bravery in the face of life’s most challenging moments.
I am here to help clients evaluate presenting concerns, pinpoint the purpose of our time together, and identify goals for treatment. I do not assume the role of expert with my clients, in favor of a role as facilitator and guide, as I believe that my clients possess the wisdom that they need to take meaningful action toward change.
I work with clients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, and OCD in conjunction with other major life stressors and/or complexities, including grief, chronic illness/pain, neurodivergence, and burnout. The overlap between these experiences is significant. A whole-person approach to treatment can offer a supportive avenue to healing and fulfilled living.
I primarily utilize Acceptance & Commitment Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we explore who you are and the symptoms you notice, then connect to your core values to guide treatment. I also utilize Exposure & Response Prevention and Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to support OCD-specific concerns. I root my practice in culturally responsive and humanistic philosophies.
I'm honored to support each individual in their process of healing and change. I believe that it's never too late or a waste of time to show up for yourself! Health of the mind is indistinguishable from health of the body. I am enthusiastic to become a fellow traveler on whatever the journey may be.
