I'm a licensed clinical social worker and certified clinical trauma professional who works with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. For some people, therapy means inviting me into your life for a critical period when you need to get back to your life after that difficult transition. For others, it's a lifelong journey that is focused on healing from past wounds and difficulties that are hindering your ability to create the life that you want.

I earned my bachelor’s in social work with a minor in communications from the University of South Florida and my master’s in clinical social work from Campbellsville University. Since I began my career, I’ve trained in multiple therapy methods and specifically focused my trainings and certificates on traumatic experiences and mental health/mood disorders.

My clients come from many different backgrounds, and many have unique, often difficult stories. Each person's reason for pursuing therapy is different. Maybe you're struggling to make it through every day because of overwhelming fear, sadness, or worry. Maybe you're facing a big transition, and you're scared of the changes that are coming your way. Maybe you feel unfulfilled in your life and want help figuring out what's next. No matter what reason you're seeking therapy, I'm here to be your support in this stressful time. Together, we can get you back on track in finding your wholeness and peace.

My therapeutic approach changes based on your needs; I don't believe that one therapy technique fits every need or person. Using an "eclectic" approach, I take skills from each method I know (see list) to create a plan just for you. I use evidence-based techniques, strengths-based approaches, and client-centered theories that allow me to be creative in treating each client. This also allows you to provide feedback on what's helping change your life and what we can improve on in sessions.
