About me
I help adults who feel stuck in anxiety, chronic stress, trauma patterns, or mind–body symptoms reconnect with a sense of internal safety, clarity, and agency through an integrative, nervous system–informed therapeutic approach.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, and complex mind–body presentations. Many of the individuals I work with are highly sensitive, self-aware, and insightful, yet still feel trapped in patterns that do not shift through understanding alone.
My clinical approach is rooted in the belief that lasting change occurs when therapy addresses not only thoughts and emotions, but also the nervous system states and learned survival responses that shape how a person experiences themselves and the world. Psychological symptoms often make sense when viewed through the lens of stress physiology, trauma adaptation, and conditioned threat responses rather than personal failure or pathology.
I integrate evidence-informed modalities with somatic and experiential techniques to support regulation, emotional processing, and adaptive change. Sessions are collaborative and tailored, with attention to cognitive patterns, emotional experience, bodily cues, and relational dynamics. Rather than pushing for quick symptom elimination, the work focuses on building capacity, flexibility, and self-trust so that change can be sustained over time.
My style is direct, compassionate, and practical. I work well with clients who are motivated for insight but recognize that insight alone has not been enough, and who are open to exploring how their nervous system, stress responses, and internal patterns contribute to their current challenges. Therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of what is happening beneath the surface, and develop new ways of responding that feel grounded and authentic.
I am particularly drawn to working with individuals who have felt misunderstood, invalidated, or “too much” in traditional settings, and who are seeking a therapeutic relationship that honors both their psychological experience and their physiological reality. My goal is to help clients feel more at home in their bodies, more flexible in their responses, and more aligned in how they live and relate.
