About me
I am experienced in working with and dedicated to helping adult individuals who struggle with adult ADHD, anxiety, body image, depression, divorce and single-parents, life transitions, military and first responders, relationship distress, PTSD/crisis/trauma, self-esteem, and women’s issues.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who loves helping clients discover the realization that they are not stuck where they are. I am passionate about helping those struggling with managing stress and anxiety, overcoming trauma, coping with life changes, and navigating relationship issues. I find joy in helping clients to begin to experience relief and start living a happier, more fulfilled life.
I received her undergraduate degree from Elon University. I worked in mental health as a Certified Peer Support Specialist and then went on to work for my local rape crisis agency as a Community Educator. Wanting to help on the frontlines, I then worked as a law enforcement officer for ten years. While working in law enforcement, I received my first graduate degree in Crisis and Trauma Counseling. After leaving law enforcement, I went on to earn a second graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I works with adult individuals and specializes in adult ADHD, anxiety, body image, depression, divorce and single-parents, life transitions, military and first responders, relationship distress, PTSD/crisis/trauma, self-esteem, and women’s issues. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy. I am eclectic and versatile in my therapeutic approach. I have a genuine interest in my clients, and I strive to create a welcoming, safe space for them. My ability to meet each client where they are, along with my warmth, compassion, and humor allows clients to feel comfortable. My ability to guide and collaborate with clients on their journey of self-discovery helps them to discover their inner strength and become empowered.
