About me
Welcome! I have worked nearly 20 years as a therapist bringing compassionate care to adults, children, and families as they cope with a broad scope of difficult life transitions and mental health challenges.
My work with individuals and families is a tremendous privilege and I love what I do. Whether you are new to counseling or need a fresh perspective, don't put off getting help. Your mental health matters - schedule a free consult to get your mental health back on track. I am currently taking new clients, have no waitlist and can get clients in within 1-2 weeks.
I bring a warm, empathetic presence, and am a huge fan of teaching clients the skills they need between sessions to meet their goals. You will feel heard, valued and most importantly supported. We will identify your goals, prioritize your needs, and get you where you want to be. I won't lie, it can be hard work, but one thing I've learned is anything hard is worth the challenge and leads to growth.
My scope includes anxiety, depression, coping with work and life stress and transitions, relationship stress, perinatal and postpartum care, infertility, and parenting. I have a strong background in supporting serious and chronic illness, caregiver issues, palliative and hospice care, as well as grief counseling.
My training includes mindfulness, CBT, gestalt, and art therapy, helping clients integrate self-awareness and empowered choice to achieve the change and relief they seek. I hope to talk with you soon!
