About me
I am a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate trauma, emotional challenges, and life transitions while building real, lasting change.
Hi, I’m Amanda Boone, MA, LPC, LCDC. I work with adolescents and adults who are dealing with anxiety, trauma, life stress, and those seasons where everything just feels off or overwhelming.
My approach is real, direct, and supportive. I’m not here to just sit back and nod—I’m here to help you actually move forward. Therapy with me is a collaborative process where we focus on understanding what’s going on, but also doing something about it.
I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, while tailoring everything to you as an individual. No cookie-cutter therapy over here. Whether we’re working through trauma, emotional regulation, or patterns that keep repeating, the goal is real, lasting change—not just temporary relief.
I have experience working with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship stress, and major life transitions. I also understand that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable, and I meet you where you are—without judgment, but with honesty.
I tend to be a good fit for people who are ready to be open, put in the work, and want more than just a space to vent. Growth takes effort, and I’m here to guide you through that process while giving you practical tools you can actually use outside of session.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will support you, challenge you when needed, and help you create real change—not just talk about it—we’ll likely work well together.
