About me
I am an Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a focus on LGBT+ individuals, I strive on creating a safe and supportive environment to explore unique experiences, identity, and challenges. I understand the complexities and nuances of LGBT+ experiences, including issues related to identity, societal pressures, discrimination, and relationship dynamics. I prioritize building a trusting relationship where we can discuss topics related to sexual orientation, gender identity, and any other aspects of your life that are important. I have experienced working with complex trauma, anxiety, adjustment issues with individuals and couples.
As a queer therapist, I bring not only clinical training but also lived experience to the therapy room. I understand the complexities of navigating identity, relationships, and the world around us, especially when it feels like that world wasn’t built with you in mind. My approach is compassionate, curious, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I work from a broad, inclusive perspective that honors the many layers of your story—your culture, your community, your struggles, and your strengths. Whether you’re exploring your identity, managing anxiety or depression, healing from trauma, or just needing someone to talk to who gets it, I’m here to walk alongside you. Therapy with me is a collaborative process. You don’t have to come in with all the answers but just a willingness to show up. Together, we’ll create a space where you can be fully yourself, and maybe even discover new parts of you along the way.
