About me
Hi! I am a therapist and licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with experience providing therapeutic services in the school setting as well as in private practice. I work with a diverse population of various ages and specialize in treating trauma, life adjustments, grief, and anxiety/depression. I can provide Christian counseling if requested.
I primarily seek to provide a strengths-based, Person Centered therapeutic approach coupled with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I utilize TF-CBT to treat trauma related symptoms as well as therapeutic play with children. I am in the process of being fully trained in EMDR. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and its role in producing change. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable to share your story as you are ready to do so. The first few sessions are primarily for sharing your story and your presenting concerns at the time of starting therapy. Over time, we will partner together to develop healthier coping strategies and develop a positive mindset to face all that is in front of you. I will be there every step of the way as you meet the goals you wish to reach.
