Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Colorado Springs, CO

About me
I am an experienced clinical social worker who is passionate about helping people connect with their authentic self in order to identify relevant and workable ways through overwhelm and dysregulation.
Allyson (Ally) Warner Orozco, MSW, LCSW, obtained her graduate degree from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2013. She began her career as a school social worker in Chicago and is currently working as a therapist at Catholic Charities of Central Colorado.
Ally works with children 10+ and adults, specifically those with neurodivergence, those adjusting to demands of parenthood, and those who have experienced acute or complex trauma. Ally works to help children and adults better understand their own nervous system and stress responses, with the goal of learning new skills to navigate overwhelm.
Ally treats every client as their own expert, and utilizes an eclectic therapeutic approach, pulling in influences from motivational interviewing techniques, polyvagal informed-therapy, somatic therapy, and the internal family systems model as a means to help people find connection to their self, and their body, in order to make helpful shifts in their lives. Ally is also trained in EMDR therapy and can use this as an additional tool to help children and adults release the weight that traumatic experiences hold in their lives.
