About me
Hi, I’m Allison Mervin LCMHC Specializing in Trauma & Anxiety in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing grief and loss, navigating PTSD, or struggling with depression and anxiety. In our work together, my goal is to highlight your individual strengths and help you identify your values so that you can feel empowered to build the life you want. I wholeheartedly believe that self-trust, personal insight and connection are essential components of a fulfilling and joyful life. Healing is an incredibly challenging task and it would be such an honor to walk alongside you on this journey.
In practice, I take an eclectic approach, and use collaboration to tailor therapy to each person’s needs. I often draw from ACT, DBT, and CBT, and enjoy incorporating Dreamwork and Analytical Psychology. Additionally, I am trained in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and integration.
