I specialize in treating anxiety and OCD and have extensive experience working with children as well as individuals across the lifespan. I have been a therapist since 2004 and have worked in the social services field since 1998. I am licensed in Utah and Idaho.

I primarily use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with my clients and tailor it to each client's specific needs. I modify the treatment for children so that it is as fun and engaging as possible. When working with children I ask that parent(s) attend with their child - I want you to hear what I'm teaching your child so that you can have the same language and plan and so that we're all on the same page. If your child is a teenager you can decide together if it would be better for them to attend alone or with you. I've also been trained in SPACE which is used with parents when children are not able or willing to attend therapy.

Additionally, I am trained in administering two sound/music therapies that directly help the nervous system, developed by Stephen Porges - the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and the Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP). For clients who have trauma in addition to or as a part of their anxiety/OCD I have been trained in EMDR and the Flash Technique.
