About me

I am an experienced licensed psychologist offering convenient online therapy to professional women who are tired of stress and tension. We focus on your needs as you regroup and find a better way forward.

Over thinking, over-doing, overwhelmed? Doing too much can leave us feeling disappointed, anxious, stuck, and frustrated. This leads to relationship dissatisfaction, sleeplessness, tension, anxiety, depression, and overall confusion about what choices to make or how to improve the situation. Despite this, you know you’re ready to start experiencing for yourself all that you give away to others. You’re ready to experience greater mental clarity, quality sleep, and contentment. You’re ready to feel more confident in navigating life’s stressors and your relationships. Let’s break this cycle and create your new way of living, by design.

Hi, I’m Dr. Alicia Rozycki. Welcome to AROSE eTherapy ®, an online therapy practice dedicated to supporting women shift from tension to calm. If you’re a woman who is feeling tired, overwhelmed, or underappreciated, this practice is for you. I absolutely love guiding women on their journey from anxiety to living in balance, focusing on their own needs without guilt.

I spent most of my career working as a military psychologist but also concentrated in working with older adults, health psychology, psychological testing, and addictions. In recent years I worked in the civilian sector offering outpatient therapy and during that time, I came to love working with high achieving women who had tons to offer the world but were being dragged down by overdoing and carrying some dead weight in their lives.

These women were so bright, talented, educated, successful—and tired. They were exhausted. They were the point people at work—the people everyone else counted on so they got more than their fair share of tasks on their to-do lists. They were not only carrying that load but usually carrying the load of a loved one who was not pulling their own weight, whether with household chores, financials, or emotions. These women were doing ALL the heavy lifting with next to no support.

These career women can be found in the civilian sector, as active duty military, or in the veteran workforce. In all, their caregiving tendencies, although a strength for offering compassion to others, were also an deficit as they just couldn’t say no to the people all around them who were, consciously or not, taking advantage. The hardest task they had in front of them was finding their voice, saying no, and not putting up with takers. Getting comfortable with self-care was monumental.

These are the women I wanted to work with. I see it. I know it. I get it. And life on the other side of saying no is just too good; it needs to be shared with other women. My passion is working with women as they navigate life’s stressors and challenges. I truly enjoy sharing tools and strategies to help women break out of negative cycles to feel better as soon as possible!

Feel heard by someone who understands personally and has experience guiding women through these challenges professionally. We all face unique challenges and experiences, and it can be particularly meaningful to support each other on our journeys to our highest selves. AROSE eTherapy offers solutions.

My approach begins with alleviating acute distress you may be feeling. Once you get sleep, reduce anxiety, and lift depression, you'll be able to move forward in addressing deeper issues. I work with clients to understand their life story and how that has created patterns that are no longer useful.

In identifying patterns and reactions together, you'll have the awareness and insight to make changes. Usually underneath the acute symptoms are feelings of worthlessness and confusion about direction, purpose, or roles.

With the clarity you now have, you can consciously decide how you want to go forward. I want you to believe in yourself so that you can stop self-judgment and trust yourself and your decisions.

With this, you'll have the confidence to make changes like setting boundaries, leaving toxic environments, and saying yes to self-care. You'll see your energy return and enjoy engaging in activities that are fun and nurturing.

You'll be convinced that you deserve your best life.
