About me
Therapy, to me, isn’t about fixing—it’s about understanding, accepting, and growing. It’s a process of connecting with and caring for yourself. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a master’s degree from Pepperdine University and over five years of experience in the mental health field, I offer a calm, compassionate space for deep reflection and meaningful healing.
My clients come from all walks of life and seek long-term growth, greater self-awareness, and deeper connection with themselves and others. I especially connect with those who identify as highly sensitive people, introverts, reflective thinkers, or deep feelers. I value building authentic, lasting therapeutic relationships and believe therapy works best when it unfolds over time. I’m not a “quick fix” therapist; instead, I strive to create a steady, trusting space where change is authentic and growth is sustainable. Above all, I’m committed to offering an inclusive, affirming environment where all identities and experiences are welcomed and respected.
Much of my work centers on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, and life transitions, as well as the lasting impacts of trauma and complex family dynamics. I support individuals exploring their relationship with food and body image, managing ADHD, and healing attachment wounds, self-esteem challenges, or patterns of self-harm and suicidality. I also work with couples seeking to improve communication, rebuild trust, and deepen their understanding of one another. Whatever you’re carrying, my goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered in your healing.
I see my role as a guide to help you explore past trauma and current struggles, a partner to sit with you through feelings and experiences, and a mirror to facilitate reflection and self-compassion. My approach is gentle, client-led, and grounded in empathy. I integrate trauma-informed, somatic, and mindfulness-based practices, along with training in EMDR, DBT, CBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing to support deep healing.
Whether you’re new to therapy or returning to it, welcome. And if you identify with the kinds of clients I’ve described, or if my intentions resonate with you, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your therapy journey.
