About me
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you are not quite sure where to start or how to put everything you are feeling into words. The good news is you do not have to. We can figure that part out together.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and my style is warm, down to earth, supportive, and honest. I am not the therapist who is going to sit quietly, nod, and ask about your feelings for the entire session. I believe therapy can include laughter, real conversations, tough questions, and moments where I challenge you to look at things a little differently.
I enjoy working with people navigating relationships, life transitions, stress, self esteem, identity, communication, and those moments when you know something needs to change but you have not quite figured out what that looks like yet. I am especially passionate about working with young adults, Black and LGBTQ+ clients, and people adjusting to life after incarceration.
My goal is to create a space where you do not feel like you have to perform or have all the right answers. Come as you are. We can talk about what is working, what is not, the patterns you keep finding yourself in, and what you actually want your life to look like.
I will meet you where you are, but I will not leave you there. We will work together to better understand what is happening, build practical tools, and turn insight into meaningful change one step at a time.
