About me
As an experienced therapist of over 17 years, my scope of practice includes working with couples and individuals with trauma. I'm experienced and trained in EMDR, CBT and DBT, working on ACT certificate to be used to enhance couple and individual trauma work. Over the years, I've worked with thousands of individuals in multiple settings such as substance abuse, working with children and families in the child protection system, work with incarcerated individuals and group, and PTSD of all types .
Wherever you are in your treatment-whether you've had several episodes of care or have never been to therapy, you will find your experience to be very positive. In my sessions, I try and use colorful imagery, creative analogies and most importantly actively listening to you and fully understanding your needs. My expertise in diagnosing and treating many clients will benefit you in being able to correctly understand and effectively treat your presenting concerns .
