I am an experienced coach, counselor, trainer and consultant. My specialty is to help you uncover and employ powerful and skillful inner resources you may not have realized or doubted are within you to create the achievable outcomes and make the life changes you want.

Most of my work these days is psychoeducational and life coaching, although I'm a a professional counselor since 1994, a Licensed Professional Counselor (Virginia license #0701003179) since 2001, a National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist since 2003 specializing in the field of energy psychology since 2004. I have education and training in several established forms of psychotherapy: cognitive behavioral, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapies, and Ericksonian and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Although I integrate these as needed, I emphasize compassionate therapeutic presence. I apply both what I know and who I am as a fellow human being to our sessions. My main approach involves teaching and guiding you to establish and leverage a highly effective working relationship with your own subconscious mind to eliminate inner obstacles to emotional healing, personal growth, professional effectiveness and higher quality living.
