I am a LSW Clinician with a passion for working with the LGBTQ+ population.
I have my Masters in Social Work and am an LSW – Licensed Social Worker. Here are a few things about me I think could be helpful when deciding if I would be a good fit for you in a therapeutic setting. I use both she/her and they/them pronouns with no preference as my gender and gender presentation flows in a different way in each stage of my life. I identify as queer which means to me that I am sexually and romantically attracted to people regardless of their gender, sex, gender presentation, etc. I am white and Hispanic, I was adopted and raised by my white family and am now connecting more with my indigenous Mexican and Hispanic roots. I speak English. I am neurodivergent and process the world a little differently than some. Lastly, I am highly spiritual, I do not practice any religion but rather have a close connection to the spiritual. This is something that I can bring into or leave out of the therapeutic setting depending on your beliefs, and preferences.
In a therapeutic setting I want to create safe spaces for individuals to explore who they are and whatever experiences they want to process. I want to relate with and support people in an authentic and kind way. Much of the work that I do is through a holistic, person-centered, and trauma-informed lens. I understand that we all have our own set of experiences, and traumas. We also each have our own way of experiencing this world, and my goal is to allow space for you to explore that guided by you.
