About me
Hi, I’m Alexis, and I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for support isn’t always easy, and taking this first step shows courage and a desire for change.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents, adults, and older adults facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, substance use, grief, self-esteem issues, and difficulties managing emotions. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, exhausted, or simply looking for a safe place to process life’s ups and downs, I am here to support you.
My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. I believe that every person has strengths, even when it’s difficult to see them, and I enjoy helping clients build on those strengths while developing practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I use a combination of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, solutions- focused and strengths-based techniques. Most importantly, I tailor therapy to fit your unique needs, goals, and personality.
I strive to be genuine, compassionate, and collaborative in my work. My hope is that our sessions feel like a place where you can be honest, feel understood, and make progress at a pace that feels right for you.
As a Christian, I am happy to incorporate faith-based perspectives into counseling when requested, while also providing support that is respectful and welcoming to clients of all backgrounds and beliefs.
If you’re ready to begin your journey toward healing, growth, and greater peace, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
