About me
I am a License Clinical Social Worker, as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, with over 7 years of experience in the mental health field.
As a therapist, I strive to break the barriers of traditional therapy by going beyond the mind and helping facilitate healing for the body as well. Neuroscience has confirmed that the body is in fact what keeps the “score.” I am an out-of-the box therapist that operates from a holistic healing standpoint, who believes that everyone can and deserves to heal. I work with adults of all ages to help uncover the true source of their suffering. I operate by going to the root of the problem and helping discover unidentified trauma's, griefs, and unproductive belief systems that may be holding one back from living the life that they truly desire.
I am a License Clinical Social Worker, as well as a Certified Trauma Specialist, with over 6 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with individuals who have experienced a wide range of trauma, to include military related, childhood and relational trauma; as well as, domestic violence, sexual assault and more. I obtained my master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas-Arlington. I am an Army veteran as well as a devoted mother who is determined to break generational trauma.
I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), childhood trauma, relational issues/trauma, emotional disorders/issues, military related trauma, anger management, and transitional life issues. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to include, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Experience, Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamics, emotion regulation, mindfulness skills, and more.
My goal is to provide you with a safe non-judgmental space to help you uncover the strength and courage that already resides within you to heal. Healing is possible for everyone; but you don’t have to go at it alone. If you are ready to start your journey to Live more Consciously, please email or call to schedule a FREE 15-minute consultation.
