About me
Alexandra (Ally) Janshen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 7 years of experience working with individuals of all ages who have experienced trauma and over 5 years of experience working in the school setting. She has experience working with adults and children with anxiety, depression, trauma, Autism, ADHD/ADD and deficits in social skills and emotional regulation. Ally is currently a school social worker, which provides her with a skill set that assists her in connecting with the school systems, advocating for the child in the school setting and supporting the connection between the school and home. She believes strongly in the importance of using a whole child approach and building a team to support the child.
As a prior travel and collegiate athlete, Ally has a passion for supporting athletes of all ages to develop skills that help them power through and cope with the high demands placed on them daily. She hopes to work closely with individual athletes, teams and coaches to build camaraderie and individual skills that will assist with increasing confidence, focus and love for the sport. As an individual who experienced a career ending injury, she hopes to help athletes process through their own injuries, the grief, identity loss and pressure that comes along with the injuries. Ally believes in the importance of building a safe place, a strong therapeutic relationship, honesty, accountability, teamwork and kindness.
