About me
I am a bilingual (English, Spanish) licensed professional (LCSW) with more than 25 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental and collaborative. I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, grief and loss, relationship concerns and issues related to identity and LGBTQIA+ experiences. I believe therapy should be a safe space where you can be heard, understood and accepted without judgement. I draw from several evidence-based approaches, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I tailor therapy to your individual needs, goals, and personality rather than one size fits all approach. Working with more than two decades of clinical experience I’ve worked with people facing a wide range of emotional and life circumstances. My goal is to better help you understand yourself developing practical coping skills, work through difficult experiences, and build greater confidence and emotional wellbeing. Whether you are struggling with someone who is affecting you right now or dealing with a difficult situation right know you don’t have to navigate it alone. I would be honored to work with you.
