I’m Alexa Perrigo, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families across the lifespan—from toddlers to adults. I hold additional certifications as a Certified Trauma and Resilience Specialist in Education (CTRS-E) and in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT). Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including in-home, clinic, and most recently, within special education in schools. These experiences have shaped my practice into what it is today: trauma-informed, family-centered, and rooted in real-life understanding.

Rooted Behavior Analytics was founded on both professional passion and personal experience. As someone who has walked through trauma, and as a mom of three boys and a wife to a husband with ongoing medical needs, I know how complex and overwhelming life can get. I also know the strength it takes to keep showing up—for your child, your family, and yourself. I created this practice to come alongside families just like mine—those who need support that is compassionate and effective. My approach is grounded in clinical integrity, shaped by lived experience, and guided by faith. I believe meaningful progress happens when people feel safe, heard, and empowered.
