About me
I am an EMDR-focused therapist who helps adults heal from trauma, PTSD, and anxiety in Austin, TX through Neuro Nuance Therapy and EMDR, PLLC.
I’ve spent over a decade working in the counseling field, supporting people who feel stuck in survival mode and are ready for deeper, more lasting change. My work is grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience, and I believe therapy is most effective when you are treated as a whole person rather than a diagnosis.
Many people seek therapy after feeling unheard, rushed, or misunderstood in previous care. My goal is to provide a space where you feel genuinely listened to, supported, and approached with compassion and openness. Therapy should feel collaborative and paced to meet you where you are, allowing meaningful healing to unfold without pressure or judgment.
I provide therapy through Neuro Nuance Therapy and EMDR, PLLC, a private psychotherapy practice based in Austin, TX. The practice offers both in-person sessions in Austin and secure telehealth services throughout Texas. Neuro Nuance Therapy and EMDR, PLLC is centered around EMDR-focused psychotherapy for adults working through trauma-related concerns.
EMDR therapy is the primary treatment approach used at the practice. EMDR supports clients in safely processing distressing experiences, reducing trauma-related symptoms, and regaining a sense of stability and confidence in daily life. Care is individualized and collaborative, with attention to safety, readiness, and sustainable progress rather than quick fixes.
My background includes extensive experience in trauma and addiction treatment, as well as personal insight into the recovery process. I believe people are capable of far more than symptom reduction alone, and that meaningful healing involves reconnecting with a sense of agency, identity, and purpose. Therapy is not about being “fixed,” but about creating the conditions for growth, integration, and lasting change.
If you are looking for EMDR-focused therapy for trauma, PTSD, or anxiety, and want care that is thoughtful, respectful, and grounded, you don’t have to navigate this alone. Reaching out can be difficult, but taking that step can be the beginning of meaningful healing.
