I am a licensed, clinical social worker with an M.Div. degree with over 30 years' experience.

I want to get to know you. I want to get to know you so that I can help you to get to know yourself--your original self, the self you are today, the self you want to be tomorrow. I want you to get to know me. I have more than twenty years of experience helping people help themselves. I have an M.Div. degree (Master of Divinity), an MSW degree, and I am a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker. If I cannot help you, I will refer you to someone I think can.

I am most interested in helping with conflict--within oneself (depression, grief, anxiety, anger), within relationships (abuses, infidelities, aggression, passivity), and within children (bullying, withdrawal, oppositional behaviors, social media issues). I have provided pastoral counseling to couples for decades. I used to provide counseling to students at a private grade and middle school once a week.

I am on the Great South Bay. If wanted, I will give you the seat with a water view; if not, the leather sofa is all yours (well, for 45 minutes). I'll provide you with safety from judgment; with clarification of your options; and with hope in whatever manner you come to define it.
