About me
Compassionate DNP, APRN Providing Personalized, Evidence-Based Mental Health Care Through Collaborative and Patient-Centered Treatment.
Welcome, and thank you for considering me as a partner in your mental health journey. I am Adenike Ola, DNP, APRN, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered mental health care in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
I believe that effective psychiatric care begins with listening. Every individual has a unique story, and I take the time to understand your concerns, goals, and experiences before developing a personalized treatment plan. My approach emphasizes collaboration and shared decision-making, ensuring that you are informed about your diagnosis, treatment options, and the benefits and potential risks of medications so that we can make decisions together.
I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for adolescents and adults experiencing conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, ADHD, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), insomnia, and other mental health concerns. My care is grounded in current evidence-based practices while recognizing the importance of each person's emotional, physical, social, and cultural needs.
In addition to medication management, I encourage healthy coping strategies, stress reduction, lifestyle modifications, and, when appropriate, psychotherapy as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. I work collaboratively with therapists, primary care providers, family members (with your permission), and other healthcare professionals to promote continuity of care and the best possible outcomes.
My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable discussing your concerns and confident that your voice matters. Whether you are seeking care for the first time or continuing treatment, I am committed to helping you achieve emotional wellness, improve your quality of life, and build the skills needed for long-term recovery and resilience.
I look forward to working with you and supporting you every step of your mental health journey.
