About me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy and Telehealth. I work with people in the First Responder, LGBTQ+, and Neurodivergent communities. I help adolescents and adults work through trauma, PTSD, C-PTSD, Emotion Regulation, Anxiety, and Depression.
I have been a lifelong horse-person and have always wanted to share the peace and healing I found with my own horses with others. I started Stable Ground Therapy in order to offer this unique modality to communities that are often left out of the trauma-treatment discussion. I come from a First Responder family, with both parents serving in the Fire Service and 911 Dispatch, and know first-hand how needed mental health treatment is within the community. I also identify as Queer and Neurodivergent, which has given me a unique perspective and allowed me to connect with clients who may share similar identities, and those who do not. In my free time I also enjoy swimming with my competitive synchronized swim team, baking, playing guitar, spending time with my horses, and reading sci-fi and fantasy books.
