MY APPROACH TO HELPING

I am an LISW, seeing adults 18+, with over 27 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have experience successfully treating individuals with issues concerning interpersonal relationships, grief, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, and stress management.

I am an LISW in the state of Ohio. I provide individual therapy for adults ages 18-65+, for clients in need of services for a range of concerns, including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, challenges within interpersonal relationships, stress, grief, and trauma, and diversity/racial discrimination/racial healing issues. I am a graduate of Xavier University. I hold an MA in Clinical Psychology from Union Institute & University, have an MSW from the University of Cincinnati.

I believe therapy should be tailored as a unique experience to fit the client, just as each client is unique. I see the process of therapy as holding a safe and sacred space, where a therapeutic alliance is built between client and therapist, enabling clients to express themselves authentically, share their struggles, create goals, and overcome obstacles; leading each person to be the best version of themselves. As a therapist, I strive to be there each step of the way, providing competence, support, and encouragement to not only overcome obstacles, but to also find meaning in the journey.
