About me
I specialize in trauma and PTSD, addictions and recovery, and mood disorders. I am experienced in working with survivors of domestic violence, LGBT+ and immigrant population and I am a passionate advocate for gender equality and social justice.
I believe change is always possible and, in my practice, I focus on helping the clients find their way toward their best selves. Whether it's depression, substance use, or relationship issues, there is always something that can be done to improve our lives. In my counseling practice, I value therapeutic relationship above anything else. Trust, respect, and genuineness are my core values both professionally and personally.
I obtained my MS in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas of El Paso and MA in Educational Psychology from the Janusz Korczak University in Warsaw, Poland. I currently work at the Counseling of El Paso where I serve individuals, families, and couples. I am a practicing Buddhist, a cat lady, and a mom to a toddler and two cats.
