Yvette Yonan, LCSW, MSW

I am a licensed therapist with more than 20 years of diverse experience working with individuals (ages 7 to 85), couples, and families.

I have a Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health from Loyola University of Chicago, and I am licensed in the state of Illinois. Early in my career, I served the Pilsen Little Village community, working with adults, families, and children. I subsequently worked in crisis intervention for various hospitals throughout Chicagoland before starting my private practice. As a provider in private practice, I have provided care to patient of all ages in an office setting, as well as geriatric patients in skilled nursing facilities. I am the founder of InTouch Mind Health, PLLC, where I serve as the Clinical Services Director and Psychotherapist

As a clinician I aim to assist individuals in their journey to find fulfillment, joy, and peace of mind through services that promote personal and spiritual growth, emotional healing, positive self-image, improved relationships, and purposeful living. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as Solutions Focused (SFT), and Narrative Therapy interventions in the clinical setting with adults, and Play Therapy when working with children. Believing firmly in a person's right to choose whether or not faith will guide their individual journey, I am a practicing Christian and, having studied biblical theology at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois. I am able (upon request) to incorporate biblical truths and concepts in the therapeutic setting for individuals who choose a more biblical approach to counseling.
