Yolanda Parker, LPC
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am a caring and dedicated professional experienced in helping during life's most challenging times.
My role is to help clients reach their therapeutic goals while using a person-centered approach. I enjoy collaborating with clients to develop an individualized plan to meet their emotional and behavioral needs. Within a non-judgmental and friendly environment, I create space for clients to express themselves freely. I encourage clients to gain insight, explore their past experiences, and apply healthy coping skills to increase overall health and well-being.
My previous work experience includes 14 years of working with children, adolescents, and families within juvenile justice and school counseling. Currently, my focus is on community counseling with teenagers and adults who are working toward overcoming and managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and unhealthy relationship dynamics.
If you or a loved one are facing a behavioral, mental health or life changing concern and need help, let’s talk. You don’t have to do it alone and I would love to help. I look forward to speaking with you on ways to support you on your journey toward health and wellness.
