About me
I have over 13 years of clinical experience working with severe and persistent mental illness. I have trained at Michigan Hospital for my Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work. I am here to provide empathetic non-judgmental therapy that empowers your individual needs and desires in treatment.
Areas of expertise: Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety disorders, Border Line Personality Disorder, Bipolar, Schizophrenia spectrum disorders, criminal justice issues and PTSD/Trauma. Primary intervention styles include attachment theory approach, Motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness/Meditation and EMDR Trauma approaches.
I tailor my approach to what best serves each individual I work with because I know cookie cutter therapy does not work. Whether you benefit from exercises and homework or a more experiential approach, I am here to support you in the best way that I can.
