I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Minnesota, trained and passionate in my work with people who have been through trauma.

I have had the opportunity to see a variety of clients with an assortment of difficulties including trauma, sexual abuse, dissociation, depression, anxiety, adolescent struggles (including self-harm), boundaries, and more. I have specialized training in trauma counseling and utilize EMDR, which is a powerful tool to promote healing from trauma. I have received certificates of training through the American Association of Christian Counselors in the areas of Crisis and First Responder Assistance, Acute Stress, Grief, & Trauma care, PTSD, and Combat Stress. My passion is working with clients who have been through severe trauma (including sexual abuse, sex trafficking, ritual abuse, and other forms of extreme trauma), that have developed PTSD, Dissociative Disorders, and other related struggles. I am a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator and can offer premarital counseling and assessment through the P/E program as well.

I use an integrative therapeutic approach from a variety of theoretical models including EMDR, Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and alternative therapies (including art therapy). The interventions and techniques I use are tailored to the individual’s specific needs in order to aid the individual in reaching one's goals for therapy. I believe in a holistic approach including physical, emotional, and spiritual healing for the whole person. As a committed believer and follower of Jesus, I understand the importance of a healthy spiritual life (along with emotional and physical health). This in mind, I welcome clients to incorporate their faith within the therapeutic setting if they wish.
